SCHOOL - ITALIAN EXPERIENCE
Often schools come to learn how to play Bocce. Our host will give the students a little history lesson on how the sport started.
Then let the games begin. The students get to enjoy their own games of bocce followed by a nice big plate of pasta home made by our very own ladies in the committee.
All-in-all, the students get to enjoy a nice Italian experience. What more can you ask!
BOCCIA REBELS
The Laguna also provides the venue to the Boccia Rebels to train weekly. They have been playing since 1989 and are part of the WA Disabled Sports Association. All of these teams are sponsored by Italico Vigolo (an internationally registered coach).
Festivals
BRINGING VENEZIA AND BOCCE TO THE CITY
There have also been occasions where the members get to showcase their passion for the Italian life outside the Laguna Club facilities, by having an exhibition match in the city for all to see or being part of the Colours of Italy Festival - to name a few.
Bocce is a sport that can be played even on the grass!
